So when a bowler wins a PBA event does it really matter what ball they won the last TV match with?  I guess I mean, if the ball company gives them a bunch of money to use their new "best" ball on TV for exposure, does it matter?  What really matters is what ball did they bowl the scores that qualified them for the finals, eh?  Do they advertise this ball too?  Even if it is "old" technology?  Do the pros snow us wannabees?  Just curious.
