CLT Grip
« on: July 24, 2003, 11:27:44 AM »
Can someone PLEASE explain this to me?!  Anything that's more comfortable and helps my hand out of the ball would be GREAT.  It might be a good trick of the trade for the ol' pro shop too.

Forget Kung Fu, I know Ron Bahr!!!

The only difference between youth and adult leagues are that the big boys are allowed to whine.  They're more entertaining anyway.

Getting the right fit is experimentation. I've been bowling most of my 25 years on this earth and just now found a thumb pitch i like. When you find what works and is comfortable, ask the driller what the setting is, keep your stats on paper that way you'll always know them. The reson for this is if you go out o town to a PBA stop or something they usually have ball deals.

Hamster, go back to around 6-10-03 and there or around that time there was several posts on the CLT. Also, someone posted a place to "click on" that gave pictorial instructions on exactly how to lay out the CLT grip. I don't have time right now to look it up for you, but if you can't find it, message me and I will find it for you later today.......I tried it and it was probably the most comfortable grip I have ever had, but for some reason my ball "went dead." Some people really like this grip. I intend to experiment with it more later when I have time, because it is so comfortable for me. Basically, it puts more of your hand against the ball.
