I've used Cliff Saliba in the past. He's in Liverpool inside Lakeview Bowling Center. Has his own proship with his dad inside there.

Not sure of any coaches, but where about in syracuse area are you bowlergee...I bowl in the central new york area either. I haven't personally had Saliba as a coach, but I've seen him bowl and he is very talented, so he could work well..

I still go back to Cliff Saliba every once in a while if I feel something is wrong with my game, and he is quick to point it out. Highly recommend him.

Check Rochester and Buff area. Bob Learn when the tour is not in session do nice instruction. Fran Bax use to do some lessons not sure if he still does. Lots of talent and some coaches out your way just need to find the right contacts. mybowler.com is put together by a few people out in Cuse and they could probably direct you to a good coach.

Call over to Striking Results. Mike Tryniski gives lessons there. Hes a regional pro and a Brunswick staffer. He's not a coach, but very reputable. He's helped alot of guys out that I know of. Cliff Saliba is another reputable "teacher," and a great guy in general.

i second chazman. cliff is good with establishing solid basics. mike t is good at taking you to the higher level once you are proficient (so i am told). so it depends on where you are in your game. both are them are really nice guys, i don't think you could go wrong. mike is north of syracuse in fulton. cliff is in liverpool.

I still give a lesson or two once in a while, I can schedule something in the Rochester area on Tuesdays or Thursdays since I work just down the road from AMF Olympic Bowl. If you want to travel the extra 75 miles west, I still arrange to do some lessons out of Tonawanda Bowling Center or Rapids Bowling Center in Niagara Falls Friday through Monday.

BTW, I'm harmless, and I work with the bowler's strengths rather than iron out a bowler's weaknesses.

oh, and BTW, Cliff Slaiba is an awesome coach. Cliff and I won the 1983 ABC team event, and once in a great while he'll iron me out when I'm in the Syracuse area!
