At nationals in 2002 in Billings, MT I bowled a 290 game. Spare in the first then 11 in a row. Having only bowled in nationals twice (poorly I might add) I was pretty happy about it. I filled out the required forms and waited for my award. And waited, and waited , and waited. Then in 2003 in Knoxville I decided to go talk to an ABC rep about the possibility of getting my award. He new nothing but the info was available on the computer. He assured me it would arrive shortly. This year in Reno I didn't waste my time inquiring about my award. Last week I received a letter from the ABC asking me if my 11 in a row in "Knoxville" was the first 11 or the last 11.
I sent them the following e-mail. In all fairness to the ABC they did respond to my e-mail with apologies and a statement of when I could expect my award.
Concerning my 290 game award at the National Bowling tournament on May 7, 2003 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
The 11 strikes in a row were beginning in the 2nd frame. But, it was done in Billings, MT in 2002 and yes I filled out the appropriate forms the very next day. The reason you have a date of May 7, 2003 is because when I bowled in Knoxville, TN in 2003 I went into one of the offices and talked to a man and requested my award for 2002. He assured me it would be sent out shortly. I didn't bother talking to anyone about it this year because I assumed it would be a waste of time. Kind of like paying my ABC dues. (SARCASM) Can you blame me? How often does one bowl 11 in a row in a national tourney? Hopefully more often than waiting 2 or 3 years to get the award for it that our dues are supposed to pay for.
Are you taking any applications for employment? Sounds like nice work if you can get it.

I'd like to tap into my true potential but I'm afraid it'll cut into my sitting around time
