Cobra SE or Urethane Roto Grip grenade
« on: October 15, 2012, 07:18:09 AM »
What does everyone think  will the Cobra SE outshine the urethane grenade or will they overlap.  The grenade has a higher diff but is urethane.  Hitting power to the cobra due to resin???  Opinions?  Bsciallly I really want to order a Cobra SE, but Im trying to be logical here (wait are bowlers logical) and if its going to overlap my grenade too much I will TRY not to buy it :)

Cobra is pretty strong, with it's S74 cover. Even with .017 diff, it still hooks, from what I've heard. Plenty smooth, but strong. I personally think it would fit above your Grenade just due to the cover.

I think the main difference between the Cobra SE and a Urethane ball is the Cobra is cleaner through the front part of the lane and will give you a little more reaction down lane. I wouldn't go so far as to call it strong. Outside of my Hype Urethane and plastic ball, the Cobra SE is easily the weakest ball in my bag.

Hmmmmmm thinking about this more.  It could be the ultimate core vs cover test. Haha. Dynamic core with weak cover vs old school core with today's cover
