Don’t let them get too cold.

Keep your balls outside, preferably buried in the snow. The cold acts as a preservative and prevents the coverstock from aging. That new-ball reaction lasts even longer. You're welcome.

edit:  sigh didn't look to see its volcano troll.  Still in general for the non trolls reading this don't leave your bowling balls in the car trunk over night in the winter if you live somewhere cold.

Leave them in the trunk, with the car running.

What is this "cold" you of which you speak? Bowling balls are fine, even when it's 40 degrees outside.  ;D

Happy New Year from Sunny California.

Happy New Year from Sunny California.

Yeah did outdoor putt putt yesterday with the kids in short sleeves and was a little warm in mid to upper 70s.  Days like that remind me why I put up with 120 in late June.

Wrap them in uncooked bacon.

I hope somebody from Storm is reading this.  I'm not in the market for any new equipment, but a bacon scented ball would probably make me open up my wallet.

Well, if 9~ was here, he would say just store them with your sheep to keep them warm.  :)

I have heard of folks using hot water bottle or hand warmers in a sock zipped up in the bag to help keep stuff warm that have to be outside.
