People are in love with Hyroad Nano cause it's new. People liked the HyRoad Solid when it first came out too. Let's see the consensus by the Spring time.
From what I've seen so far, it has a lazy, all-midlane motion. The high speed/high rev guys don't have to worry about shooting it past the breakpoint, but for the tweeners, strokers and average low-rev mixed league bowlers this thing doesn't look that good on the THS that I've seen in a few different Vegas houses.
Perhaps that's the case with some, but as I posted, I've seen a good reaction on both house shots and sport shots with mine - at least once the box finish was gone. Maybe it's just our house shot here.
I never had the Hy-road Solid, and I've still yet to own an original Hy-road. I've only had the Pearl (Nano and Pearl are a great 1-2 combo so far for me). I buy a good deal of balls in a season. Some I love, some are ok, and some end up being less than ideal. In fact, I bought the Daredevil Danger at the same time (love the Trick and original) and I'm finding the Nano to be a better match so far - although the Danger worked well in game 3 last night.
I'm certainly not a cranker, although I do often throw with decent speed - but not always. Rev rate probably maxes out around 350 on a good day. I generally play the track and out. Low tilt, a little more up the back. People have seen me throw it (including my PSO since I bowl with him multiple nights), and now I see a ton of people with the ball.
I do also throw 14lbs. Should put that out there since the core specs are different.
