Anyone know what year the columbia tour boss ti was released and what was out of box surface

It came out in Dec of 97, if I remember correctly the OOB cover was 800 wet sanded...it was Columbia's direct competition to the Dangerzone if I'm not mistaken.

I wonder if you're not thinking of the original Boss Titanium, which was a rough finish.  The Tour Boss was a little shinier, OOB would probably be more like a sheen 4000 or a Rough Buff finish today.

Little known fact:  In Russian "Hope" and "Change" translate to "Tax" and "Spend"
