Pearl has more length and stronger backend reaction.

About the difference you would expect between a solid and pearl with the same core.  However not enough difference that I would carry both with the same layout and surface prep.   Neither ball matched up well for me on tournament patterns.  I prefer the Marvel Pearl, or Tour Fusion to the hyroads.

The HYROAD is a Hybrid. Decent mid lane with an arcing move to the pocket. The HYROAD Pearl has easy length with a more pronounced move off the spot. My Pearl was skiddish. I prefer the HYROAD and altering surface and layouts for length vs strength as opposed to the Pearl. Hope this helps.
