Title: Computing ball speed....
Post by: Iketown300 on June 26, 2004, 02:47:56 AM
How do you compute your ball speed if you know how long it takes the ball to get from the foul line to the pins?  I know i saw this before in either bowling digest or bowling this month but i don't remember where i have placed the magazines and was wondering if anybody knew...thanks in advance, i appreciate it.

you can do this by taking time/40.91
or in other words take the time it takes from release to head pin and divide it into 40.91

Ex. 2.5/40.91 = 16.364mph
