I have been thinking about this all weekend, especially after reading up on David Haynes' daughter, as it really hits home for me. My wife and I had a similar loss with our first child (daughter), and it is something that is hard to impossible to get over. The feeling of helplessness, especially on the father's end, is really hard to take, just as you are trying to be the strong and supportive one for your wife/mother of the baby, because they may feel like they've failed in bringing their baby into the world. It is so very hard. Even though we have children now, we still miss our baby girl. But with the right support and support of those who have been through it, it can get better.

Question: Is there anyway of getting a message or anything to the Blanchards, as far as where to go for support? or even to send them something personal just to let them know that they are not alone? I'm already donating to their fund, but want to know if they like to hear from someone who has been through this..

anyone have an idea?

Josh is the co-owner of a pro shop inside of Brunswick Mesa Lanes in Mesa, AZ. You could send him something there. I cannot remember the name of the shop, but if sent to the center it will get to him.

Thanks. I will give this a shot. Like I said, it (child loss) is a hard subject to deal with; but in talking about it, it makes it therapeutic for themselves and others as they get their emotions out. It's just sad that the topic is rather taboo.
