headwest,
When I start seeing the ten pin stand or go late on shots I thought were good off my hand. I watch two things.
1. Where does my six pin go?? Wrap or Flat. if wrap I move my feet back 3-6 inches on the approach or left a half board. Flat I move my feet right about a half a board or up 3-6 inches on the approach.
2.ball's entry angle, if the angle is steep, if I am playing deep on the lane, like say if I was on the chameleon or say very deep on burnt out ths for example and I start seeing the ball come in behind the 10 pin, I move the line right 1-2 boards feet and target on the lane everything right 1-2 boards.
NOTE: This is how I fix ten pin issues BEFORE changing balls. headwest asked I explained. this is my method and may not work for everyone. Using those rules I have very few issues with leaving the ten pin abnormal numbers of times.
