core shapes for 13 pound balls

wondering what mfgs. use the cores that are in their 14-16 lb balls in a 13 pound ball.  i know morich does but what others do the same? my mom is 62 and uses 13 and we try to find her equipment like the rest of us throw

Take a look at Brunswick.  They always try to match the specs of the lower weight cores to the higher weight ones.

Brunswick use to go all the way down to 12 LBS with their high performance core/weightblocks.  Now on the high performance bowling bals, they only go down to 14 LBS.

 

I believe the Mission series goes all the way down to 13 LBS with their high performance core/weighblocks.
