There are a couple of mixed leauges in area that have this side pot option.
if you guys don't know what is I will explain it.
the pot cost 4 dollors a team $2 per man and $2 woman. The men could go in with any amount of women they want but the women must shoe up the $2 for every male they go in with. If you think of it this pot becomes vey lucrative for the night. 40 5-person teams 2 women 3 men. this pot usally gross about $3000-8000 for the night and paying 4 spots...
1st $3000
2nd $2000
3rd $1500
4th $1000

their have been bowlers that have shot 300 in the second game and sweep it and took home close to $4000 that nice for a days pay.

I just wanted to know if any of you guys have this in your area and is the money big like it is in the NJ area?

Damn,

What part of NJ is this at...your home alleys in Union City??? There's some decent money to be made in brackets and pots but I don't know if it's around that amount.

these leauges are at Hyway Bowl and Garden State in Union, also Jersey Lanes in Linden and Hudson lanes in Jersey City, the aveage for 1st is $2500. $1250 a piece. if you catch on spot it is still a nice payday.

I have received 10 e-mails on this so far I will explain it in further detail.
This must happen it in mixed leauges.
If a lady goes in with 20 guys at $2 a man she must match that $2 a man that means she must put up her half which is $20= $40 all together. some ladies get in with 50-60 men.
the love doubles usally happens the second game and the league usally dictats if it's going to be handicap or scratch at the being of the year.

Now If you have 30 teams with atleast 2 women on each team and paying $80 in entries thats $4800. the man and the women with two higest scores in the second game will the first spot and so and so fourth.
