Overherd this the other night from a new hotshot bowler.

“These lanes suck and I’m never going to bowl here again. I’m going back to where they know how to do the lanes.”

Other bowler “What is wrong with the lanes?”

“I have a complete 8 ball arsenal. I stand on 30, laydown on 20 and belly to 5.”

“I start with the 5 ball and if it hooks two much I go to 4 then 3 then 2 then 1. If it doesnt hook enuf then I go to 6 then 7 then 8.”

“On these lanes if I use my 7 and miss just a little outside my mark it hooks two much but if I go to my 3 and pull it just a litte then it won’t come up. These lanes are stupid.”

Other bowler “You are swing’n the ball too much and playing the wrong portion of the lane. Tighten up your line.”

“That’s stupid, I have an arnsenal that allows me to play my line. I’m going back to where they know how to run the lanes”.
