We're back from Vegas and BowlExpo and what a great time. On the last day the boss and I were walking the exhibit hall and VIA had a lane setup at one end of the building. Anyone that could strike on the lane was put into a drawing that the first 40 names drawn won a $100 bucks. Sandra and I looked at the approaches and there was ez slide all over the place, people bowling in tennis shoes and really nasty bottomed bowling shoes. Slipping, Sticking and falling all over the place. I put a bright green sock on prepped it and stood in line. You had a selection of house balls to throw and the lane was oiled from the foul line to the pin deck. I threw a 12 pound balls straight in the pocket twice and left the 5-9. Walking back I had to get something with more meat! I could barely hang on to the 14 pounder they had but struck on the next ball with it. No sticking, slipping or problems even it that environment!!!. The first 10 drawn got to throw at a chance for a million bucks if they could pick up the 7-10 on that condition. I was 25th too bad. Still it was funny! She went hey!!! look nasty approach conditions!!hhhmmm... OH BOY!
