1) If you use grips, it voids the warranty on the ball, because of the glue. Do thumb slugs also void the warranty?
2) Have any of you ever had a thumb slug come out of the ball while bowling??? It happened to me about a month or so ago, and it happened to AK today, and we both used the same driller. I dont know if he didnt use enough glue or what, but it happened. Could it have been the type of slug? They are very soft.

I'm not an expert, but I've heard that some slugs dont work with some glues.
Maybe you guys are using a different kind of slug than the pro shop is used to, and he just grabbed the wrong glue out of habit.
And - yes - I have seen it happen before.

I think anything glued in voids the warrantee.
I've had a thumb insert pop out, but I've never had a solid/drilled thumb slug come out.
