High track layout.

I have just bought a Pure Swing 15lbs, 2.5 top weight and 2 inch pin,I all so am going to buy a Pure Physics with about the same #s.I am a high track player, pap is 5 over 5/8 up speed about 15.5.My best balls by far has been with the pin at one 0clock pos.with the cg kicked out at 45 degrees.The most disappointing, pin above bridge. ALL ways a over and under nitemare. I've done the 3 3/8 to pap leverage with decent results.I am looking to put something new on these balls.Any ideas?I want the balls to be arcing not skid flip.My action packed is drilled at the one and 45 degree mark and it is a very good ball.Looking for something to give me the same look.

Why not pin under ring, cg out 45* with a low hole. Should give you a strong arc.

It seems to be your fave layout so why not just do something similar?  From there, adjust the cover to fine tune the breakpoint.  The only thing you may be able to do, is do a pin below the ring finger, cg swung out and a weight hole down.  A layout like that for you in going to give you earlier read of the midlane and control on the backend.  I am a high track also and my favorite layouts, are pin above a slightly outside the ring finger (put the pin 4.5-5 inches from PAP) and the more midlane, the more I swing the cg and put a weight hole DOWN and adjust coverstock if needed.  The more backend I want, I stack the cg under the pin and leave a more polished finish. For the most part, I keep it simple.  I dont ever get "exotic" with my layouts.

My PAP is 6 over 3/4 up. This layout works good as a control layout for me.

Otherwise, pin up, 41/2 to 6 inch pin to pap, cg to the right of the thumbhole at or about 45 degrees,  using weight hole to adjust the reaction works best for me. Look on Brunsnick website or Morich website. Lot of good info on weight hole adjustment. If you are really interested in finding what works for you, you need to have a basic understanding about how to tweak ball reaction.

I have also found that stronger drillings dont work well for me.
