Ron Clifton to appear on Let's Go Bowling, 2

Kev, I just can't sneak anything by you can I? LOL

Yep I am doing the show again. That radio show is fantastic, I wish we had those all across the country. It is so cool to tune into the radio and hear nothing but bowling talked about.

They interview anyone and everyone that is anyone in the bowling world. Evey great player, ball designer and coach etc. Sometimes they will even talk to a no-one that isn't anyone, that no-one cares about to fill time (ME) but mostly they talk to very interesting people.

These are long interviews (half hour in most cases) so the pros will often say and reveal things they never have time to talk about on TV.

You can hear all the old shows over the internet on their website. Navigating through all the pages is not too easy but worth the time.

Ron, when Ken announced it Di and I both were blown away.  I think the last one you did went really well, and I'm looking forward to this one, both to listen and to comment.  We always listen live, then I go over it again when Ken posts it.  We play a little game too, where I try to identify the music he plays as lead ins to the commercials.  He actually called to tell me who the last one I couldn't identify was, and Di and I just sent away for the cd.  I'm really happy you guys were able to link up again.  I bugged Ken about it a while back, but you were pretty busy at that time.  

J, the show is out of the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area. 5pm eastern time.  There's a video link, too, so you can see Ken and Bill live in the studio.  They're really not that exciting to watch, but it's funny to see them talking with their hands on the radio.

Oh, I forgot to mention:  they now interview the previous week's PBA show winners at the start of the show, so we should be hearing from Rhino and Jodi this week. Be there or... listen later.

I know it's somewhere in Florida. I want to say Tampa, but I'm not positive.

Yep, he was talking about that at dinner last year, and we had the great luck to be seated right across from him.  He demonstrated the stripes on the lane with drink straws.  The guy is simply amazing.  This was one of the fastest shows they've ever had.  It was over way too soon.  And Ken mentioned me!  Yay!

The show was fun. I hope to get down to Florida next year to meet those guys.
I wish every state had a bowling radio show like that.

I've had a little problem after the surgery that hasn't corrected itself, so Jan. 13th I'll be getting an internal cardiac defibrillator.  Kind of like a paramedic in my chest to keep it in rhythm.  They're going to add a third wire to it to adjust the rhythm as necessary.  I'm ok, I just get out of breath really fast and I'm totally beat by the end of the 3rd game.  But, since I'm lefty, I'll be out another 6 weeks after 8 already this year.  If I were a righty I'd be bowling in 2.  Shirt happens.

  That was nice of Ken to mention me.  I love their show and we listen every week.  Usually twice, once live and once when I write about it.

Good luck with that Kev, I hope they get you fixed up for good. They for-sure have to get you in good shape in time for you to make the 2009 Gathering!!!

BTW after they are finished will you be able to get WIFI with that?
