Using the pros as a guide, ...put together YOUR 'dream' game. Meaning, combining any pro, pick your attitude, release, approach, revrate, whichever you like to create the game you'd love to have !
I'll start...........this is easy.......
Approach: A 5 step right handed version of Parker
Release: Chris Barnes
Revrate: Doesn't matter
Who else.........thoughts ?

For me I would have to say that I bowl most like Marshall Holman without as much intensity. I am quiet when I bowl. Only times I get goofy is when things are going bad

Growing up, I always loved PDW's huge backswing. Hated his attitude, but loved that swing. I tried copying it and couldn't be consistent with it. Person's style I hated the most? Marshall Holman. Go figure, that when it was all said and done that my shot looks a lot like his (low starting position and 5 step delivery)
If I could create my swing over again, right now I wouldn't mind having Webber's backswing, Mika's line and consistency. Only thing I don't like about Mika is his short followthrough. I perfer it longer.
If I had to describe my swing to everyone, I would say Marshall Holman's approach, with Mika's line. I perfer straighter shots. Obviously I am no where near as accurate as Mika when he throws it

As for release and finish, I wouldn't insult any tour pro's by comparing my game to theirs

"Here we go folks, he is working off the first 8, and looking good. Looks good on the approach.... OH NO, its off his ankle and down the gutter!! OHH THE HUMANITY!"

For me it would be a toss between everything of Parker and everything of Monacelli.

trying to have fun while I bowl

man i hate watching parkers okee-dokee style. pretty effective i guess. but Barnes when he is practicing and not under the gun and sometimes when he is under the gun has some crazy smooth power. he's the oposite of mika in that he'll play the same line but float the ball down the lane instead of clanking it to the arrows.
for me, as far as mental images that kind of help keep my game in check.
approach: brad angelo(without the pause) or dougie kent.
backswing: somewhere between robert smith and amletto.
release: barnes/walichic they got that same floppy rev thang-but it does work and is more importantly readable.
spares: all amletto
mental attitude: same as that elf that used to room with tommy jones.
