high averages
« on: October 07, 2009, 12:35:57 PM »
What has been the highest average team you are on and have you ever been on a team where you had the top two averages or top 3 or 4 or top 5?    What were the averages?

One of my teams now has a 1096 average and top 4 all above 220 out of 29 teams

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I'm pretty sure I was in top 3 the last three or four years as a youth bowler at my home house.  This year, my first as an adult, I'm in a mixed league and we're in top 5

never one of the top, but won 2 seasons in a row in a handicap league (doubles) with the least amount of handicap out of any team and we actually had 35 teams.

Bowled on a 5 man team last year where the averages were 224, 232, 228, 225, and 235. We had the top two averages and the five of us were in the top 7 out of a 24 team league. Unfortunately we had to break apart with the threat of an average cap during the end of the year meeting...

Wouldn't it be FWGJAU instead of FIGJAM since its a team effort, not an indivdiual one?

My Tuesday League, average of the league 204.38, and this is a handicap 90% of 230 league  The conditions are consistantly easy each and every night.

http://www.leaguesecretary.com/LeagueFilesStandings.aspx?LID=41648

My Thursday League,  Clearly the Tuesday League has better bowlers, and both leagues bowl on the exact same easy 40 foot wet/dry house china, but lots of the bowlers in this Thursday league will whine to me to the death, the owner is oiling the lanes differently for the tuesday league to induce the high scores on Tuesday.  But this is definitely not the case, the bowlers as a whole just suck on Thursday.  My team is only in this league to show the league they stink and the lanes are completely scoreable and easy, as evident by my 300 I'm not that good.

Anywho, I could care less about these averages, cuz it's house China, my 205 PBA Exp. Average and 299 on the Viper is more worthy than these inflated house league scores.
