I was wondering if anyone has heard of steel fingers. My friend told me he knew someone was using the steel fingers because his friend's fingers were sprain. If there such a thing, does anyone have any info on how to get a hold of them. I can hardly bend my middle finger first digit. I don't know if the steel fingers will help if there such a thing. thanks

Sure; I have a pair and several friends do.
They can help greatly with finger joint tendonitis. They reduce the pressure on the joint, IF USED PROPERLY!

Not sure how well they work with sprain. Sprains can be relatively severe and usually respond best to rest. If you can hardly bend it, you definitely have a medical problem. See a doctor, NOT A WEBSITE! Seriously, you never, never know how serious such an injury can be or become when left untreated. A friend no longer bowls just because he wanted his own remedy NOW and not rest. His joint is now frozen forever and, guess what, he can't bowl again, like FOREVER.

Be smart.

1) Ice it for 15 minutes. than 10 minutes off. Than 15 more minutes on.
2) Is there a not anywhere on your finger? If there is, see a doctor. There is a line (Forget what it is called) that runs from the palm of you hand to the tip off your finger. This what bends your finger. It can tear. If it did tear, it will roll up like a rubber band and make a small knot where it stoped (could be anywhere from your pal up that finger. If that happened you will need surgery. Ever see a person with a bent finger that they can't bend back at the tip?  That is what happened to them.
