Curious about gloves

Are the sticky/tacky gloves that receivers and baseball players legal to use in USBC and PBA competition? I haven't seen in gloves for the exception of the golf gloves and powergloves on the tv spots.

You can get bowling specific gloves that are just as tacky. The Ebonite Rx comes to mind.

They would be legal for USBC competition, but not PBA probably. But I could be mistaken, Pete Weber wears what looks to be a golf glove with the thumb cut out.

Has to be Non identifiable brand or else approved logo'd(paid fee) for use in PBA. No problem in USBC competition.

I have one by Ebi. But don't think it works. If it helps, it's definitly not much.
They probably help no thumbers though.

How do 2 handed bowlers cheat? What rules of the game are they breaking? I'm new here, so I need educating.

I have been debating on trying them out for awhile now. I feel if I can have a stable feel in my palm I won't try to grab as much. The technology in bowling gloves doesn't look to have changed much. Football has so much invested that the comfort, tackiness, and flexibility could possibly be superior to the bowling brands. I will update you guys if it works.

I have tried several of them, after many years of use and trying different things
the one thing that made the biggest improvement in my game was learning how to tape the thumb-hole and relax the hand, grip pressure is important in the game today.

it sounds simple, but until someone that knows what they are doing checks your grip, pitches, etc and taught me exactly where to put the tape, did my release and grip pressure get any better.

this was for ME though, your results may vary

I've actually tried wide receiver gloves. They were super tacky on the ball. The one big downfall is you pretty much have to clean the ball after every shot. Once you get oil on the ball the gloves lose their tackiness. But once you clean the ball comes right back.

Agree. I have6 switch grips in diff sizes.
