Ball Recommendations
« on: February 17, 2016, 08:11:21 PM »
What is a good 13lb ball for a high school / youth league bowler?  She's been bowling for 6 years and is 12 years old.  She throws a 14lb slightly reactive ball now (I can't remember the type) but it is really too heavy.  She needs a 13lb in my opinion.  Any suggestions???

There are definitely a lot of options that can be given for different types of balls out there.  To better help narrow down some choices for her, can you describe her game a little bit?  For example, does she like to play straighter or hook the ball a lot?  Slower, average or faster ball speed?  Those types of details can definitely help with giving some better suggestions.

We're glad to help.  The biggest suggestion all of us will also give is to talk to a reputable pro shop before purchasing as well.  Good pro shops will ask a lot of these same questions and they should take her on the lanes to observe her game.  That will also help with getting her the best ball for her game.

But if you can describe her game a bit more, we can give some general ideas to consider.
