Span/slug question
« on: January 01, 2009, 12:09:02 PM »
If you wanted to put a slug into a used ball you are acquiring instead of plugging the thumb, how close would their span have to be to yours for this to work? And if their ball has a slug and you just want to put your own in, does this require any plugging?

it depends on the size of the original slug. you  can have  a 1/4 inch but it will be smaller mostly..  you can always put a bigger slug in but the most I can see is 3/8s maybe

I would like to know where you are getting 1 1/2" slugs.  The largest I have seen is 1 3/8.
