Title: Custom Bowling Shoes
Post by: bowlingaddiction on August 11, 2009, 12:29:41 AM
For sometime now I have wanted to a bowling shoe with a little more style so this week I am going to buy some velcro sheets and a pair of tennis shoes. I will cut similar patterns to the velcro bottoms of my old Dexter SST 7's. And I will try to make a custom bowling shoe.

i was thinking of taking a pair of Air Jordans. He has made basketball, football, baseball, golf, boots, and every other shoe so why not. They wouldn't be my regulars but somethin for fun and appearence.

did it to a pair of vans and its works great. i used the 3G soles and heels from my tour ultras. i put a little extra glue under my velcro pad on my shoe, but a little worried the glue will melt if i leave it in the car. anyone have that problem?

just make sure that what ever shoe you use that it doesn't leave rubber on the approaches from the non-slide sole.
