Cutting Synthetic Lanes
« on: November 25, 2024, 04:09:51 PM »
Has anyone successfully cut a synthetic lane section with a circular saw?  If so, which type of blade did you use and was it expensive?   I recently acquired a 12' section and wanted to redo my workbench tops.

Use a fine tooth blade for cutting laminate.

We cut some over here in the uk..
Yes jigsaw with fine tooth cutting blade.
Also put masking tape on finished side before cutting this normally reduces and chipping.

Carbide-Tipped Blades are ideal for cutting synthetic materials. A blade with fine teeth (60-80 teeth) is recommended for a cleaner cut.
