Cycles of life...
« on: January 05, 2005, 05:38:18 PM »
Looking back it seems very long ago, but in reality it wasn't.  Here is this kid, a newbie, still wet behind the ears.  He walks into the bowl and starts talking with the center workers.  He averaged a touch over deuce, pretty much an up the back fluffer.  He "falls" into the I have to hook the ball more attitude.  So begins...another chapter.

That little paragraph was me....yep an up the back fluffer, only a few years ago.  Forget accuracy, forget timing, just hook the ball more.  I have lived here over 5 years, which isn't very long at all.

A few weeks ago, a newbie arrived, a up the back fluffer, who averages a touch over deuce.  He is now trying to hook the ball more, he bought quite few new balls, all drilled to "hook out of the house".

It is amazing how life has cycles, seems like there is always someone that comes along that reminds you of yourself at that age.  This kid just finished basic training and now he smokes, why?  I don't know why, but hell I did it too.

Amazing.....5 years....has it been that long...
