Anyone happen to know the dates the first ball of each type came out?
Rubber
Plastic
Urethane
Resin
Particle
I can't seem to find any info on it. Any help is as always appreciated

Rubber - right after the first tire was made and the last wooden bowling ball fell apart.
Plastic - early 60's
urethane - 1980
Resin - 1990
Particle - 1998

Urethane - Black Angle 1982
Resin - Excalibur 1992

wasn't Quantum one of the first balls to have a particle cover?? and If so, I'm pretty sure they were out before 1998.

the quantum jade was the first particle bowling ball....... and it was realeased in 1998................

the hard rubber ball came out in 1905. this was by the american hard rubber company. bowling balls before this were made of wood, usually lignum vitae.
columbia 300 brought the plastic ball to the market in 1960.
amf's angle was the first urethane ball to hit the market in 1981( ? )
the x-caliber by nu-line was the first reactive ball( 1991 ).
the jade quantum by brunswick technology ventures was the first particle ball to hit the market( 1998 ).
