De-revving ball?
« on: May 24, 2004, 05:43:51 AM »
Ok, I've been bowling with my smashr for a couple weeks, and I notice that the ball, as it gets down the lane, starts to "de-rev" and spin more slowly....now wouldn't that be rolling out?  But then, I can play 45-5 no thumbed with over 500 revs, and it is fine....

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!?

Even ask BK, he saw it too.

*shakes head* no sh|t, ITS NO THUMBED! But the ball does seem to slow down, though I think it may just be the flare and the way the labels are on the ball.

No, I'm saying, you'd think the ball is burning up when you look at it, but having twice as many revs would AMPLIFY that effect, so.....

Strange though, I'm just a high tracker, not a full roller....maybe I'm a really high tracker.

I'm not sure, maybe.  I think so, since the smashr IS drilled pin under ring, an no-no for high trackers.  I'll check it out tommorrow, but then again I'll be using my thing returns, right BK?
