Arsenal Question
« on: November 23, 2007, 10:25:46 AM »
I have been changing around my arsenal a bit this season as our alleys just had Brunswick Pro Lane installed for this year.  I used to have old wood lanes til now.  As of right now I'm averaging 208 (3rd highest in the house).  Now to my equipment.

Hammer No Mercy with pin over ring and hart just left of the thumb.  I have the cover at 500 wet sand.  This is not the first ball out of the bag but it's what I use when theres a bit more oil.

Brunswick Fury Pearl with pin under ring.  Cover is 500 abralon with Beans Secret Sauce.  This is my benchmark ball gives me a very consistent read with good pop on the backs.

Columbia Ego drilled like the trick drill from TJ.  Cover is OOB.  This is the ball I use when the Fury Pearl pops too much on the backs and starts leaving single pins.  This ball picks up quite a bit earlier than the Fury Pearl and if the heads are too dry it's hard to keep it right of the head pin.

What I'm looking at is the RG Illusion or the Twisted Fury for something just under the Fury Pearl and maybe something that goes a bit further down the lane.

Opinions?

I bowl at Bernadettes in Fairbury, IL, I know that Pheasant Lanes down in Bloomington, IL just got them too.
