In regard to the question below, about your MO after a strike, why do most people have such a strong reaction?
Please no one be insulted, I know that nearly everyone does something, but, especially for the people who get a lot of strikes, doesn't anyone subscribe to the policy of "act like you've been there before?"
I can understand a 140 average bowler, who may get 2-3 strikes a night, having a genuine exciting moment after a strike, but for those who get 10-20 a night, wouldn't it be more appropriate to just go and sit down?
I'm not talking about the 11th or 12th strike in a 300, or an 800, or even when you strike to clinch your point or the team game or whatever. I just mean, on a normal strike. I mean, isn't that the point, to knock them all over, if possible?
I understand, people are drinking and having a good time and I don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying bowling, too many people are quitting as it is.
I just find it impossible to celebrate every strike. I guess I am just low-key, compared to the average bowler.
