Decreasing revolutions

Wanted to get some advice from the BR members on what steps can be done to decrease the amount of revolutions that they put on the ball?

When "breaking your wrist" is it at the point of release or throughout your armswing & follow thru?

I'd suggest to keep your wrist "broken" throughout the delivery, and make sure that you do not "accidently" snap your hand upon release, which creates revs again. It is tougher than it sound when you are used to lots of hand and finger action.

You can also spread your pinky and keep the index finger tight. This will not really decrease revolutions, but tame down the ball if this is a consequential problem.
