There was a coach in youth leagues a couple years ago that bowled with us on a fun day, and he left the 1-2-4-6-10 (took the 3 straight out). So when his ball came back, he bet he could throw the exact same shot. He did, using a Mass Chaos (a fairly even rolling ball), and didn't even brush the 1 or 6.
For fun once, me and some friends had the counter put up a bunch of weird pin leaves. For instance the entire back row. I don't care what anybody says, unless a pin is off spot, it is IMPOSSIBLE to make this by going between the 8 and 9. What you have to do is go for one side or the other, and either hit a little heavy on the 10 or 7. The 8 or 9 will then topple onto the pin beside it making a domino effect to take out the last one. The 7-9-10 is slightly more difficult, but still makeable. To make the lilly, you have to use a ball 10 pounds (possibly 12) or lighter and hook it so that you catch the pin on the opposite side of the hand you're using. Right handed, you want to hit the 5 on the left side, kicking it into the 10, while a really heavy slow roll deflects the ball straight into the 7.

HAH! I don't know ANYBODY now!
Being in adult leagues teaches you many things.
1. You're not on top anymore, but there are a lot more people that suck worse than you do now.
2. The myth about the youths having an easier shot is NOT TRUE. I'd have an entire ring collection if it was.
3. Drunk adults are a lot funnier than drunk youths.
