Need help in deciding which ball to get...
« on: August 14, 2006, 04:13:06 PM »
I currently throw a Fear Factor, Pyro, Thunderstruck Solid, and Hotrod Hybrid. Should I get an Agent or Radical Inferno to go above the Thunderstruck and below the Pyro? Should I get a Thunderstruck Pearl or a Red Zone to go under my Thunderstruck Solid? Would like to get as much feedback as possible. Thanks!
Mike

I don't exactly think the Radical would fit above your Thunderstruck...from what I'm reading here one the boards, a lot of people tend to think this ball is a lot stronger than it actually is...

I have my Pyro drilled 4 by 4 so its pretty strong. My Thunderstruck is about 6 boards less. Also wouldnt the Radical give me more angularity than the stuff I have?

Well after reading your post...perhaps a Radical would work in there.  I was under the assumption that the TStruck would be a little stronger than you have mentioned.

Its my benchmark ball so it has a smooth controllable read and it hits hard as crap! Love that ball! So would the Red Zone fit under? I was thinking about getting a Red Zone with a 3-4 pin and putting a Label Drill on that.

From what I've heard, the Red Zone hooks a good deal. Definately not for that spot.

Thunderstruck Pearl sounds like it would go well in that position, considering its the Thunderstruck Solid except with more length. The Pearl may actually turn the corner a little harder and therefore cover more boards, though. I've heard of that happening with solid and pearl versions of a ball.

Edit: Still it's gonna be a better fit than the Red Zone.

ok. well what if i did a label drill on the thunderstruck pearl and got it with a 3-4 pin? it would get some length and it might come off the corner hard, but i would think it could fit below.
