When I went to a demo day in the spring for Hammer, the pro shop was kind enough to put out two different shots across 6 pairs of lanes so you could see how the balls react on a short oil pattern and a longer oil pattern. I had a great time and it helped me decide what I need in my game and what I like about what I have so far in my arsenal.

Matt...  Thanks for the kind words!  We were just happy that people were able to try out the products...and that Rich (head mechanic) actually agreed to put out two different shots!

I'm still not the hugest fan of the method for extracting the thumb slugs out of the ball as my hand really hurt afterwards, but it still was a great time!  Just remember that John is looking to do another demo (Ebonite this time) come September.

Demo days are a lot of fun for people who can make it to one.  I equate the fit of the balls to being able to throw a buddy's ball that is close.  You do it so get a feel for the ball not to throw it all of the time.
