PBA Blue Pattern

There is a local King of the Hill that I was finally thinking about doing.  They use the PBA Blue pattern.  I was wondering what the general area that is played on this pattern (where would most people play)?  I just want a better idea of what I can expect and maybe what balls I should bring.  Thanks for the help.

Do you mean the USBC Blue Pattern??

 

If so, and if I remember correctly, there are two patterns and one's fairly tougher. I bowled in a league on the not so tough one last year, playing up the boards a lot of the time. Tons of surface probably won't be necessary, but one never knows. As always lane surface and other factors come into play as well.

I'm sorry, yes, its the USBC pattern.  Its supposed to be the flatest of the three color apperns.   They are newer pro anvil (99% sure).  Right now I plan on taking a taboo at 4000, razor wire 2000 polished, freeze (box) and misfit at 2000 polish.

There are 3 USBC Blue Patterns.  All different in length and volume.  The length and volume plus the lane topography will depend on how you play it and where you want the ball to exit the pattern.
