Title: Detroit gets 2008 WIBC Tournament

Since this was announced yesterday, it's probably old news to many members of the forum, but for anyone who hasn't heard--Detroit was awarded the 2008 WIBC Tournament.  The tournament is apparently going to continue by that name in spite of the associations' merger.  Here's a link to the Detroit Free Press article about the tournament:

This is very cool.  The center that contains the pro shop I go to is apparently one of the favored ones for the tournament.

By 2008, we should have bowling balls with depleted uranium cores--maybe even actual plutonium!

I'm making all of my ABC only card-carrying buddies ante up for a WIBC card so they can come bowl and hang out with me
