I used to start my approach with my heels hanging off the back of the approach, and I'd finish within 1" of the foul line, and all of this took place with a 4 step approach!!! Needless to say, I generated some incredible ball speed with my legs....however, several injuries later, I've had to tone down my game several notches. Since I've slowed down my approach and taken some of the physical aspect out of the game, my accuracy and scores both actually improved over where they were before, because I was simply overpowering the lanes in the years before. Sometimes too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
