Why do people always rave about the newest equipment. The new equipment that is being released is no different than the crap that was released two or three years ago. It is all the same. They just have different names and colors from year to year. It is all a marketing ploy!

Same reason people rave about new cars. Its new! Not too many people have it and your the only one with it, so that makes you cool/unique. lol Like I'm the only one to ever step foot in my center with a Nsane LevRG that I know of.

Because being at a bowling alley is really cool. I only bowl because it is the only thing to do in town. Not because it is cool. It is the least cool thing besides being in the band in high school. Yet I am pretty decent at it. The thing I hate about bowling is the fat old slobs that average 200 that think they are the best ever. Please. Throw me a freaking bone here!

I wouldn't know about the fat ole slobs, I don't even know what that has to do with anything but yeah bowling is pretty cool when you take a hot girl out there with you and they see you hook the ball. The first things they always say is "I want to do that"... I never heard a hot girl tell anyone in the band, yeah i want to learn how to play an instrument...so while it may not be the coolest thing (which I dont know what you would consider cool anyways), there is still hot girls that go there and its an easy convo starter! Theres ya a bone!

You gotta watch those "other hobbies".  I have 4 kids.  If it weren't for bowling, there's no telling how many of 'em I'd have running around!

When I was a kid, there were way more hot girls in band than there were at the bowling alley. I participated in band AND bowled too so I knew.

Don't know where you live but if the bowling alley is the only place in town to go, that's sad. However, there are worse things than bowling.

First off, i am married. Second of all, if i am going to pick up chicks, i either go to a bar or nightclub! Now, the real reason this post started: Why do some people at this point in economic turmoil, constantly buy new bowling balls when they dont know what to do with the ones they have? Example: There is a 19 year old kid and his father that bowl in my league. The son has a four ball bag filled as does the father. They both average around 175. Anything wrong with this picture? also, they were  complaining last night about get beat by handicap......hello......you have handicap also!!!!!

haha a band dork....lol.  I like bowling because im good at it and make money off of it.  the bowling alley is one of the main hangouts in my city so its a pretty cool place to go to anyway.
