Is it safe to use Super Glue on finger inserts?

I need to glue a set of finger inserts into my new Fury and was wondering if I can just use Super Glue?

Krazy glue works ok, but I like the 5 second nail glue best.

many users here along with myself use Loctite Gel brand,very clean and easier than the other supre glues. Also when it's time to change them they come out much easier too

Walmart,Home Depot. It comes in two type containers one is a bottle w/pumps on the side to dispense very controlable and your regular alloy tube. Both have blue labels.

How much do you use, and do you apply it all around the insert or in a certain spot(s)?

Sir,

One drop on the four sides...top, side, bottom, side is plenty!!! Using more may cause the cracking that you read about....

One drop ...that is it...and not a huge drop..one small drop...then put a little pressure on it from the inside of the insert...let dry a second or two..then to the next area and the next drop...

Dollar store Super Glue Gel is the way to go. Easier on the ball, and easier to uninstall the grips.  Downside: takes 30-40 seconds to begin to dry. I only use one drop of glue applied to both sides and the back. Like to leave the front side  very soft, a little flexible.

I use the regular LocTite Super Glue in the squat triangular container with the brush.  The brush allows you to put the glue exactly where you want it.  I use a very thin layer all the way around about the top 1/2" of the hole.  Have not had any cracking problems.  -- JohnP

You only need glue on two sides. One drop on each side will hold them. Not necessry to glue the grips all the way around. Leave the front and back sides open so that you can shim the grips if they get too loose. This also allows for easy removal of the grips if needed without damaging them and allowing you to reuse them. To reduce chances of the glue cracking the ball, place the glue deeper down in the hole towards or in the filler area.

Agreed.  Nothing like trying to change a set of grips when the previous person has glued them 360 degrees.  Over-kill definitely.  I used one small drop in the front and one in the back, none on the sides.  I also prefer the locktite gel (as the other stuff tends to run and go everywhere.
