I had put down Warren in the post but then erased it because I was not sure of the city lines around there.  I thought it could have been Clawson.

Ok, it's been a couple of decades since I last bowled in that area, but which one is Bowl One?  I remember bowling at Astro Lanes, Red Run Lanes, Hazel Park Bowl, Froling Lanes, Thunderbird, and I cant remember the name of the one on 14 Mile between John R and Dequindre, did it start with a G?  I figure one of them must have changed names.

Astro Lanes-South of 14 Mile on John R, behind the Wendy's

Hazel Park Bowl-10 Mile and Dequinder (I think it's 10) behind the racetrack

Thunderbird Lanes-15 Mile (Maple) just West of Livernois

No idea what Red Run and Froling are though

Red Run was one of the three bowling centers that were next to golf courses with the same name.  The other two were Sunnybrook on 17 Mile and Salt River Lanes on 23 Mile Road east of Gratiot.  I cant remember exactly where Red Run was - somewhere on Rochester road north of 12 Mile in Royal Oak?

Froling's was nearby on 12 Mile.  I think it was in the northeast corner of 12 Mile and Dequindre.  Anyways, there was a mall (Universal Mall?)in the southeast corner of that intersection.  Froling's was in the middle of a strip of buildings.  Did not look like a bowling center from the outside.

I suffer from Bowl Oneitis whenever I bowl there... if there's such a thing as being a house that I just cannot hit, this is it.  Blech!
