Pin Slasher
« on: September 24, 2008, 12:38:52 PM »
I received a Pin Slasher yesterday from the Ebonite plant. My first impression, just from looking at the ball and it's properties, was that it was a much stronger Gamebreaker. It combines one of my favorite covers in the Raid with a proven and powerful V2 core shape.

What a ball motion!!! I layed out this ball with a 20 degree drilling angle, a 5" pin, and a 25 degree degree angle to the VAL. I wanted to give this ball some length due to the strength of it's cover. This ball with this layout gave me just enough in the midlane, and a very smooth, aggressive motion off the dry. Opened the lane wide up.  It's energy retention and pin carry were fantastic. It was hard to miss the 1-3. Gamebreaker has a tendency sometimes to get a little squirty on me at the breakpoint. The stronger cover covers this base. Very nice addition.

Just wanted to get this little review out there.
