I've tried to do some research regarding the Vise Compound cleaner and I'm just torn on whether to try this or not within the next day or so. The description on the bottle calls it a surface renewel making it sound like it's similar to Motiv Power Gel Scuff (which I like) that would give the ball a dull look. But when I watch the video that was made by Innovative Bowling, they described it as taking the ball down to 500 grit but also applies a fine layer of polish on it. Haven't heard of anyone trying the compound so I was hoping that someone in here that's either staffed by Vise or maybe have used this product can tell me what it exactly does and the benefits of this.

I just bought a bottle of the regular Vise cleaner after reading some really positive comments about it, so I'm looking forward to getting that in the mail by the weekend to compare it with some of the other basic cleaners that I have.

The compound has a little bit of grit in the solution and should make it appear a little shiny.  It will give you a little more length, and will create a little more snap than a ball at 3000 or 4000. But, it will not create a stronger skid / snap reaction like a polish.

The vise cleaner is very good at getting belt marks off and creating a tacky surface for sanded or polished balls. It is one of the best cleaners on the market.
