My Dad started using oval thumbs in the late 60's when Ray McLendon started drilling them here in Houston. I started using them in the late 70's and still use them today. Mike Austin has drill many for my brother and I and is really good.

Sleeves come in 1 1/8" and 1 1/4".  I'm not aware of any company that makes them in 1 3/8".  --  JohnP

I love an oval thumb. Went to them at the end of last year, and haven't looked back. That and Vacu-Grips are just a perfect combo. I absolutely hate thumb sleeves, Just never felt right, or fit the way I liked.
