Last night was the sixth night of league play since my "comeback"...and I must say the lessons and practice are beginning to payoff.
I rolled my first 600 series in league play of the season...608 to be exact (173-222-213). The release, which I've been working on for over a month now, felt GREAT...the Pro watched a few frames and said it looked 100% better than before. KUDOS TO RON C's MAGIC CARPET...I've used it in my thumb hole the last two times I've bowled and it is helping me to get my thumb out of the ball the way I'm supposed to.
Sidenote from last night...I'm sure most of you read my rant the other day about the fellow bragging about how they beat us so badly last week and how he was kind of making fun of the elderly gentleman that bowls on our team not being able to "break 100". Well, last night that elderly gentleman CAME TO BOWL! By far his best night in years...155-188-153...not too bad for a fellow who hasn't rolled over 100 four times in the last three weeks!
