I've been bowling a lot lately and it seems the wrist area nerves are sore. When my hand moves up it seems the tendons and nerves in the wrist and lower forearm are seem to be stretched. Would a wrist brace give me more support and make this problem better?

Well, it did for me. I started w/one of those cheap ebonite ones. It did the trick. I tried the Storm Gadget XF, but it's a little cumbersome. I since shed that for a Storm Extra grip plus. It gives support to the wrist, but it's flexable enough where you can also still flatten your release when you want Check this link out. For me it's well worth it. I have carpel tunnel in my wrist.

i broke my wrist while in highschool (9 years ago) and as captain of the team, I decided Id get a wrist strap and bowl anyway when my cast came off. While it helped at that time, I became very reliant on it.
Fast forward 9 years later, I am still using the same wrist strap. I cannot bowl without it now because I just don't keep my wrist bent without it anymore. I wish I never used it. I also believe its the reason my fingers swell so much during a series of games. I would recommend strengthening your wrist over getting a strap.
