Just getting back into bowling after being off for about 8 years........WOW how things have changed. I have used and still use and Urethane Ebonite black turbo, great ball. Hits hard and hooks fairly well on medium oiled lanes. I only bowl on one leage and havent bowled in a tourney in a long time.  

I picked up a columbia reaction ricochett and a storm el nino gold recently.
which one of these would be good for a THS and how should it be drilled and polished ?

on these new balls....I believe both of these are resin, how do they react when highly polished or dull ?  

From what I can see is that the reactions of a polished resin ball is quite a bit different from a polished urethane ball.  Am I correct?
