Milo, that's some dedication right there sir!! That's 1.5 hours for me lol. When I lived in Washington, most second shift leagues were draft leagues, some with sponsors. And I know some who commute too.
Bowling isn't as popular nowadays unlike before. Maybe with open bowling, or rec bowling increasing, these people may find interest in bowling leagues. This summer I talked to several guys who meet up to open bowl every week and half (5 of them) asked about leagues and were interested in joining.
Every night all summer, there are available lanes for open bowling in this 32 lane house. Before I had to wait till 9:30 every night except sundays.
