The Ball Company You've Never Tried
« on: December 29, 2003, 08:28:29 PM »
This may be an easy one for some... like "I've never tried anyone BUT XYZ."

But I'm curious, what ball company have you never tried, but are curious about?  With all the Lane 1 worship on this board, I have to admit, I want to throw a ball or two from them.

So what about you?  If there was no risk, who would you try for the first time?

The Khameleon is a great ball.  The coverstock is quite versatile (sand it, polish it, etc.).  It rolls nice and the way mine is drilled it arcs without a lot of wild skid/snap.

I'd like to try some of the AZO stuff and maybe the Ebo made Hammers look pretty nice to me.  AZO is really hard to deal with, they don't seem to know what is going on, aren't making any balls, or something is always wrong, when I tried to call them for a customer.  (Drilled him a DT ball instead!) Haven't tried any recent Visionary or Lane #1, been throwing Storm for so long.

I've never thrown Track or AZO.  I'd like to try an AZO just for the heck of it, but nothing has caught my eye.  I'd love to try a Morpheous core from Track, but I have no use for any new equipment at this time.  Especially nothing as strong as they've been producing lately.  I've never owned a Faball or Hammer product.  I've thrown the old Hammers and participated in a Hammer challenge, but nothing impressed me.

It would be easier to list the only companies' balls I have thrown:

Columbia
Ebonite
Storm
Dynothane

Guess I need to widen my horizons.

Azo:Not available here in the U.K.and expensive
to ship in if it proves to not be as good as I'v
